In the 6thth minute of the game Luizão Loureiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haslingden United's Njeri Jonny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 汪伟铮 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Menza, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Haslingden United's goalkeeper Njeri Jonny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Mendonça. Ezequiel Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Njeri Jonny made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Haslingden United's Titus Biwott got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Haslingden United's zone, Iosif Anagnostou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Njeri Jonny came out of the goal and Iosif Anagnostou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Niklas Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Njeri Jonny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iosif Anagnostou made a great header on Asyrka Kenya's corner, it was just that Haslingden United's Njeri Jonny managed to reach the ball for a save. Njeri Jonny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Loureiro in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Niklas Johnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Njeri Jonny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 minutes of play, Asyrka Kenya's Luizão Loureiro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Njeri Jonny was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fredrick Koskei was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Asyrka Kenya got a freekick which was hit by Barry Benítez. In the 53rd minute, Luizão Loureiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asyrka Kenya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Haslingden United's Njeri Jonny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Mendonça in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Haslingden United defense, Luizão Loureiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Njeri Jonny. The Haslingden United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Njeri Jonny should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Asyrka Kenya's Luizão Loureiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Njeri Jonny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Njeri Jonny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Njeri Jonny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizão Loureiro went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Asyrka Kenya fans cheered their team off the field, for while Haslingden United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
