When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ollie Davey was the one to do the kick off. Ollie Davey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Ollie Davey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Southgate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Bethnal Green and Hackney's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Turner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Wesley Southgate when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bethnal Green and Hackney could leave the field as winners, despite ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ having more of the ball for most of the match.
