Yahalon Lupo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Mahmud Ohayon made a huge save. Mahmud Ohayon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nurya Ishay in the 16th minute of the match. Yahalon Lupo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mahmud Ohayon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yahalon Lupo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Yahalon Lupo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashkelon Tigres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yahalon Lupo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nurya Ishay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmud Ohayon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Jelil's Behor Fareda got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Yahalon Lupo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ashkelon Tigres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yahalon Lupo couldn't finish the play. Yahalon Lupos short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Mahmud Ohayon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Ariel Ratzon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Arik Gefen managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Jelil's supporters rose to their feet, but Arik Gefen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ram Ostfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ariel Ratzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ram Ostfeld having to interfere. Ashkelon Tigres's Ram Ostfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arik Gefen in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arik Gefen made a kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Jelil's Dan Nahum got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Yahalon Lupo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 57 minutes, Ariel Ratzon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Jelil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Ratzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Ashkelon Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Arik Gefen came free, but Ram Ostfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yahalon Lupo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mahmud Ohayon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nurya Ishay in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Ashkelon Tigres's goal looked a bit too open when Arik Gefen came free, but Ram Ostfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Nahum during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yahalon Lupo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahmud Ohayon having to interfere.
