The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes GUY FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Amirovski. Mahmud Ohayon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mendel Garfunkel in the 9th minute of play. Benoni Gershkovich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arik Gefen's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Arik Gefen might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benoni Gershkovich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arik Gefen ran back to his position shaking his head. Rachmiel Mann kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ariel Ratzon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Benoni Gershkovich when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Mendel Garfunkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arik Gefen in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benoni Gershkovich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th match minute, GUY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomer Shemtov to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in GUY FC's zone, Arik Gefen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benoni Gershkovich came out of the goal and Arik Gefen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, GUY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arik Gefen came free, but Benoni Gershkovich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GUY FC's Benoni Gershkovich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arik Gefen in the 39th minute of play. Tomer Shemtov's late challenge caught a SC Jelil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomer Shemtov helped the player get up and apologised. Tomer Shemtov kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yadid Carmoly was the one to do the kick off. Arik Gefen got in the 52nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Benoni Gershkovich handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. GUY FC's Benoni Gershkovich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Ratzon in the 54th minute of play. SC Jelil's Arik Gefen got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Jelil's Dotan Strul got a free kick in the 60th minute. Dan Nahum kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, GUY FC's Dishon Glazer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Mendel Garfunkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mahmud Ohayon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mahmud Ohayon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yadid Carmoly showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 71 minute of play. When Arik Gefen came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the SC Jelil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arik Gefen couldn't finish the play. Mahmud Ohayon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yadid Carmoly, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Yadid Carmoly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mendel Garfunkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Ratzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benoni Gershkovich having to interfere. In the 94thth minute of the game Arik Gefen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GUY FC's Benoni Gershkovich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
