If Lee Ilizarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbie Kass fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eldór Guðmarsson having to interfere. SC Mivtah's Eldór Guðmarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SC Mivtah from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herschel del Monte in the 18th minute of play forced Princeton University's goalkeeper Uriahu Kupperman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Princeton University's zone, Yaron Kleiman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uriahu Kupperman came out of the goal and Yaron Kleiman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, SC Mivtah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avshalom Radin to maneuver through the defense. Herschel del Monte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Uriahu Kupperman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robbie Kass charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robbie Kass the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yaron Kleiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Uriahu Kupperman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriahu Kupperman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herschel del Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lee Ilizarov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Eldór Guðmarsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 37th minute, Avshalom Radin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Yaron Kleiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriahu Kupperman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lee Ilizarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yaron Kleiman made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, SC Mivtah's Yaron Kleiman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriahu Kupperman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herschel del Monte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriahu Kupperman having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Yaron Kleiman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Mivtah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaron Kleiman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of SC Mivtah:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Princeton University:s goal. A hard shot by Jake Vinkler from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Uriahu Kupperman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Yaron Kleiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SC Mivtah getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Avshalom Radin hit a great ball. Uriahu Kupperman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yaron Kleiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Yaron Kleiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriahu Kupperman having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Yaron Kleiman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uriahu Kupperman. The goal made the score 0-1.
