The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yechiav Schechter hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yair's zone, Azniel Lifshitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvad Zeig came out of the goal and Azniel Lifshitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute Jeffry Riebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvad Zeig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gili Tuzer charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gili Tuzer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Yair's zone, Jock Lasker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvad Zeig came out of the goal and Jock Lasker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jock Lasker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jock Lasker in the 30th minute of play forced Yair's goalkeeper Arvad Zeig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yair's Arvad Zeig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azniel Lifshitz in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jock Lasker was the one to do the kick off. Jock Lasker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvad Zeig having to interfere. When FC Romema's Lavan Athlan in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yair's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute, Azniel Lifshitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvad Zeig was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 62 minutes, Dar Catton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yair and the FC Romema players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience held their breath when Yad Zefati in the 64th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Arvad Zeig's left hand side. When Azniel Lifshitz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 66 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arvad Zeig was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jock Lasker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jock Lasker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arvad Zeig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 77 in the game by Azniel Lifshitz from a close distance when the talented Arvad Zeig managed to make a qualified save. Yair's players were relieved. Yechiav Schechter struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gilam Horner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yair. Gili Tuzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilam Horner having to interfere. Azniel Lifshitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Arvad Zeig made a huge save. Yechiav Schechter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jock Laskers short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Arvad Zeig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
