Lothem Ananiyah was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. The referee gave SC Misrara a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ram Agassi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of maccabi haifa's Joy Baruch. 0-1. If Roee Shivhon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niro Ohana struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Joy Baruch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Misrara. After a defensive mix-up in maccabi haifa's zone, Roee Shivhon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joy Baruch came out of the goal and Roee Shivhon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niro Ohana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joy Baruch having to interfere. Shalom Kuwsh charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shalom Kuwsh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shalom Kuwsh kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After the first half SC Misrara were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roee Shivhon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match, Niro Ohana got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joy Baruch was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joy Baruch made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Niro Ohana sent off a good shot on target. Joy Baruch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niro Ohana went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Roee Shivhon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of maccabi haifa booed when SC Misrara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elor Pordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nitzan Folt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Hmimo Gilboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Yiftach Harel came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the maccabi haifa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yiftach Harel couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niro Ohana got free with Joy Baruch in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SC Misrara played a much better game than maccabi haifa and deserved their victory. The maccabi haifa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
