Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Savyon's goal looked a bit too open when Hertzel Rozman came free, but Uzziah Semel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Savyon defense, Hertzel Rozman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uzziah Semel. The Savyon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uzziah Semel should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Azazyahu Roberts took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Ran Elharar to make any attempt to save it. 14 minutes into the match, Max Moshe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uzziah Semel. Savyon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Max Moshe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 19th minute of the match SC Yardena got a corner. Savyon's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dor Krogman ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dor Krogman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Uzziah Semel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 23rd minute Hertzel Rozman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uzziah Semel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, one of SC Yardena:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Yardena. Max Moshe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uzziah Semel having to interfere. Hertzel Rozman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Max Moshe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Uzziah Semel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Azazyahu Roberts got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Uzziah Semel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Ohana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half SC Yardena were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tzachy Shaltiel was the one to do the kick off. Max Moshe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Uzziah Semel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Azazyahu Roberts in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ran Elharar saved SC Yardena from getting behind. Max Moshe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Uzziah Semel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hertzel Rozman in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Uzziah Semel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of SC Yardena booed when Savyon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geva Joel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Savyon's Uzziah Semel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hertzel Rozman in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azazyahu Roberts in the 79th minute of play forced SC Yardena's goalkeeper Ran Elharar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Savyon's Tzachy Shaltiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ran Elharar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Azazyahu Roberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Max Moshe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Yardena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Moshe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
