The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Amir's Givon Yaqum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joash Hazan in the 6th minute of play. The FC Amir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Givon Yaqum should have stopped the shot. Paz Kappelman made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Yoshiyahu Pollack sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Kefrurieh's zone, Yoshiyahu Pollack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paz Kappelman came out of the goal and Yoshiyahu Pollack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Givon Yaqum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oz Gold in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oz Gold in the 27th minute of play forced FC Amir's goalkeeper Givon Yaqum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oz Gold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joash Hazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Givon Yaqum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, FC Amir's Yoshiyahu Pollack sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paz Kappelman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Givon Yaqum prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joash Hazan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Givon Yaqum when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reuel Armoni hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Givon Yaqum made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Joash Hazan sent off a good shot on target. If Oz Gold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
