After having played for 11 minutes, Joash Hazan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kefrurieh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joash Hazan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joash Hazan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Amitsur Har-Zion when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Peter Eldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 19 in the game by Joash Hazan from a close distance when the talented Amitsur Har-Zion managed to make a qualified save. Beitar Jerusalem's players were relieved. Beitar Jerusalem's Amitsur Har-Zion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joash Hazan in the 20th minute of play. Paz Kappelman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Eldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Kefrurieh's Dorli Shiffrin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kefrurieh's zone, Barachia Vainer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paz Kappelman came out of the goal and Barachia Vainer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-1 became the score in the 26th minute when Peter Eldan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Amitsur Har-Zion made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Joash Hazan sent off a good shot on target. Kefrurieh's Paz Kappelman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Eldan in the 31st minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Oz Gold who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beitar Jerusalem's Amitsur Har-Zion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Kefrurieh's Joash Hazan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amitsur Har-Zion narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Beitar Jerusalem booed when Kefrurieh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avdon Bingen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Tuvia Schatz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kefrurieh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tuvia Schatz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Amitsur Har-Zion managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Kefrurieh's Joash Hazan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 46 minutes of play, Beitar Jerusalem's Barachia Vainer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paz Kappelman was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Oz Gold made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Beitar Jerusalem got a freekick which was hit by Yoram Rudnik. Kefrurieh's Orev Aryeh took a good shot, in the 55th minute, which hit the crossbar above Amitsur Har-Zion's head, and flew over the goal. Beitar Jerusalem's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Kefrurieh. Joash Hazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amitsur Har-Zion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joash Hazan in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joash Hazan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amitsur Har-Zion was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 65 minutes, Oz Gold made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Beitar Jerusalem's Amitsur Har-Zion tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amitsur Har-Zion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joash Hazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joash Hazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joash Hazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ari Sar charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ari Sar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ari Sar hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Amitsur Har-Zion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joash Hazan in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Beitar Jerusalem's goal looked a bit too open when Oz Gold came free, but Amitsur Har-Zion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oz Gold couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the game, Joash Hazan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Amitsur Har-Zion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kefrurieh were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
