Spectators: 9283 (Terracing: 6964, Seating: 2135, VIP seats: 184) G.R.'s Calvin Strohmayer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yaron Claman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Matheus Toscano made a huge save. In the 6th minute of the match, Avinoach Yosefi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Matheus Toscano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 7th minute Snir Nachum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soma Csapó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC ASHKELON's Yaron Claman got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th match minute, G.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Snir Nachum to maneuver through the defense. SC ASHKELON's Soma Csapó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yefet Bar-Zohar in the 13th minute of play. Soma Csapó was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, G.R.'s Calvin Strohmayer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Soma Csapó made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Yefet Bar-Zohar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Soma Csapó was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half G.R. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yaron Claman to make the kick off. With a little luck, SC ASHKELON's Soma Csapó got control of the ball when Snir Nachum tried to sneak it across the goal line. Soma Csapó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamar Vang in the 54th minute of play. Snir Nachum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Soma Csapó made a huge save. Jamar Vang scored 0-5 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Soma Csapó, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC ASHKELON's Soma Csapó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guguh Saepuloh in the 60th minute of play. Koren Holly's late challenge caught a G.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Koren Holly helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of G.R. booed when SC ASHKELON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koren Holly didn't get a good kick on the ball. When G.R.'s Jamar Vang in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Soma Csapó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamar Vang in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Guguh Saepuloh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Soma Csapó. SC ASHKELON's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guguh Saepuloh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 76th minute, Calvin Strohmayer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The G.R. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 80th minute, G.R.'s Yefet Bar-Zohar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Soma Csapó. Soma Csapó yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Jamar Vang kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Meir Israel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soma Csapó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamar Vang, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Soma Csapó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamar Vang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as G.R.'s Calvin Strohmayer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Soma Csapó. That made the score 0-9 after 90 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Yefet Bar-Zohar managed to get in a good position for a shot. G.R.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Yefet Bar-Zohar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Soma Csapó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. G.R. played a much better game than SC ASHKELON and deserved their victory. The SC ASHKELON players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
