After a defensive mix-up in Arki's zone, Shalev Bern stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haniel Winnik came out of the goal and Shalev Bern tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Shani Lichtenstadt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jock Hornstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abarron Mauda in the 14th minute of the match. Abarron Mauda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jock Hornstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avshalom Yessod in the 25th minute of play forced FC Yahudiyyah's goalkeeper Jock Hornstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shani Lichtenstadt kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ham Nazari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jock Hornstein having to interfere. Jock Hornstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abarron Mauda, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Arki's Haniel Winnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shani Lichtenstadt in the 34th minute of play. Abarron Mauda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Yaakov Yakhin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arki's Haniel Winnik. Haniel Winnik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The supporters of FC Yahudiyyah booed when Arki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arki's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
