Antonis Masourakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when KHIREAS REGION's Adamantios Skondras in the 7th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Iordanis Kaliakoudas was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Dhorothιa through an amazing save. Viktoras Kourkoulis charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktoras Kourkoulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 15 minutes into the game, one of Dhorothιa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adamantios Skondras in the 19th minute of play forced Dhorothιa's goalkeeper Iordanis Kaliakoudas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Adamantios Skondras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 minutes, Marinos Loukoumas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dhorothιa and the KHIREAS REGION players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pavlos Fragis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thodoris Krontiras in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to Dhorothιa getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Argyris Pasamichalis hit a great ball. Antonis Masourakis hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Antonis Masourakis took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iordanis Kaliakoudas. Iordanis Kaliakoudas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of Dhorothιa booed when KHIREAS REGION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Masourakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, KHIREAS REGION's goal looked a bit too open when Thodoris Krontiras came free, but Pavlos Fragis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alekos Papakostas during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KHIREAS REGION getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alekos Papakostas hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thodoris Krontiras to strike the kick off in the second half. Pavlos Fragis made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Thomas Paltoudopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Iordanis Kaliakoudas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adamantios Skondras in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Dhorothιa's goal looked a bit too open when Antonis Masourakis came free, but Iordanis Kaliakoudas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Antonis Masourakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordanis Kaliakoudas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When KHIREAS REGION's Antonis Masourakis in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dhorothιa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Antonis Masourakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dhorothιa's Iordanis Kaliakoudas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Katsourinis in the 65th minute of play forced Dhorothιa's goalkeeper Iordanis Kaliakoudas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Adamantios Skondras made a precise shot to the right of Iordanis Kaliakoudas. Dhorothιa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. KHIREAS REGION's Panos Michail was substituted for Argyris Siapanidis. KHIREAS REGION made a substitution. Charis Rodanakis replaced Giorgos Skilas. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Adamantios Skondras sped through Dhorothιa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iordanis Kaliakoudas. After having played for 81 minutes, Antonis Masourakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KHIREAS REGION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonis Masourakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alekos Papakostas kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Iordanis Kaliakoudas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adamantios Skondras went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Antonis Masourakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Iordanis Kaliakoudas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonis Masourakis scored 6-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iordanis Kaliakoudas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KHIREAS REGION had won after a very even match.
