Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sotiris Kalakos in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markos Karypidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the game, Manolás BC's Nacho Daganov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markos Karypidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 28 minutes into the game, one of AEKFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Manolás BC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sakis Xanthos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AEKFC's Markos Karypidis. 3-0. In the 38th minute Manolás BC were awarded a corner. Sakis Xanthos went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Manolás BC's corner Minas Tsirkos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Markos Karypidis quite easily take care of the ball. In the 39th minute, Apostolikas Raptakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Sotiris Kalakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, AEKFC's Apostolikas Raptakis got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Minas Tsirkos struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Markos Karypidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manolás BC. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sotiris Kalakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Markos Karypidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 minutes, Sotiris Kalakos made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. AEKFC's Markos Karypidis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Manolás BC fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Manolás BC's Sotiris Kalakos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. AEKFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manolás BC the free kick. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AEKFC! In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Manolás BC. Sakis Xanthos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Markos Karypidis. 7-0. Paris Koutsoures could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Giorgos Iordanou made a huge save. Nacho Daganov struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Markos Karypidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markos Karypidis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manolás BC had played much better football throughout.
