With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vassilis Tsartsikidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Thomas Kabolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xarilaou United's Nontas Konstantakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Xarilaou United from getting a goal against them. Ntinos Katsiabis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Nontas Konstantakis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Nontas Konstantakis managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Παναθηναϊκός FC's Ntinos Katsiabis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rdth minute of the game Panagiotis Balodimos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Παναθηναϊκός FC's Vassilis Tsartsikidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
