Akis Kakarnakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Kabolis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 14 played minutes Kιndron got a freekick which was hit by Apostolis Tsirimonakis. After 15 played minutes, Xarilaou United's Odysseas Lappas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Akis Kakarnakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xarilaou United reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomas Kabolis in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akis Kakarnakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexandros Vissis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nontas Konstantakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Kιndron's Alexandros Vissis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nontas Konstantakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Konstantinos Pavlakoglou hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After 26 played minutes Sakis Iordanopoulos shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Xarilaou United's Nontas Konstantakis to catch but Sakis Iordanopoulos was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. When Thomas Kabolis came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Xarilaou United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Kabolis couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Kιndron getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Michalis Spanakis hit a great ball. Thomas Kabolis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lakis Makas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Xarilaou United's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Vissis came free, but Nontas Konstantakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandros Vissis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Alexandros Vissis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kιndron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandros Vissis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Odysseas Lappas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomas Kabolis to strike the kick off in the second half. When Kιndron's Lakis Makas in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandros Vissis in the 62nd minute of play forced Xarilaou United's goalkeeper Nontas Konstantakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Xarilaou United's Nontas Konstantakis got control of the ball when Lakis Makas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nontas Konstantakis made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Lakis Makas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Xarilaou United's Dimitris Bakalis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Alexandros Vissis might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nontas Konstantakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexandros Vissis ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Xarilaou United's Panagiotis Balodimos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Akis Kakarnakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xarilaou United's goalkeeper Nontas Konstantakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nontas Konstantakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Vissis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Lakis Makas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alexandros Vissis came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Kιndron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandros Vissis couldn't finish the play. Alexandros Vissis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Kιndron could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Xarilaou United throughout the match.
