After a rather tough play, Panafpliakos FC's Vladimiros Nikopolidis got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Panafpliakos FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Theodosis Psilakis hit a great ball. Stavros Katrakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamatis Ravousis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omiros Papaggelakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charis Kalogirou in the 37th minute. When Kostas Soufrilas fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PAOK ACADEMY's protests and gave Kostas Soufrilas a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charis Kalogirou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kostas Soufrilas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stavros Katrakis having to interfere. Alexandros Tatoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. PAOK ACADEMY's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alexandros Tatoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omiros Papaggelakis having to make a save. PAOK ACADEMY's Omiros Papaggelakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charis Kalogirou in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Alexandros Tatoulis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omiros Papaggelakis. PAOK ACADEMY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandros Tatoulis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The supporters of PAOK ACADEMY booed when Panafpliakos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotiris Maras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Stavros Katrakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. PAOK ACADEMY's Omiros Papaggelakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charis Kalogirou in the 90th minute of play. Sotiris Maras took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omiros Papaggelakis. Omiros Papaggelakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Panafpliakos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
