Anastasios Mantziris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Kaligas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Marios Charalambakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christos Ikonomou in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasios Mantziris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasios Mantziris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Kaligas in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thrasivoulos Kalabokis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Louis Velianitis hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Christos Ikonomou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Panagiotis Laskos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thrasivoulos Kalabokis in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiros Kefalogiannis saved Kounavιοka from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Thrasivoulos Kalabokis made a precise shot to the right of Vladimiros Kefalogiannis. Kounavιοka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Valkánon BC's zone, Vaios Mitilineos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasios Mantziris came out of the goal and Vaios Mitilineos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Valkánon BC booed when Kounavιοka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Velianitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kounavιοka's Nikos Kamarinopoulos got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Loukas Meletiou shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vladimiros Kefalogiannis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valkánon BC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
