To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes in the game, Panagiotis Prasanakis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valdir Toscano having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Valdir Toscano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Efthimis Mirtsos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes, Evripidis Tripolitis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A. O AEK SYROY and the Vounési FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vounési FC booed when A. O AEK SYROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evripidis Tripolitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vounési FC's Evaggelos Lagonikakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Sepsas in the 85th minute of play.
