Ellinokastron BC's Sotos Tabakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolis Panagopoulos in the 16th minute of play. Kleanthis Macheras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Paris Stamatakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Kleanthis Macheras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Stamatakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paris Stamatakos came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Ellinokastron BC's Savas Tzolis. But to his dismay, Savas Tzolis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolis Panagopoulos in the 70th minute of play forced Ellinokastron BC's goalkeeper Sotos Tabakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paris Maloumidis during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Paidiki stegi fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ellinokastron BC:s goal. With a little luck, Ellinokastron BC's Sotos Tabakos got control of the ball when Nikos Papandreou tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 played minutes Ellinokastron BC got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Politis. 86 minutes into the game, Christos Peppas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A collision led to Paidiki stegi fc getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Lakis Moustakas hit a great ball. If Savas Tzolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Paidiki stegi fc's zone, Kleanthis Macheras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paris Stamatakos came out of the goal and Kleanthis Macheras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paris Stamatakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Savas Tzolis in the 96th minute of play. Paris Stamatakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savas Tzolis, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Ellinokastron BC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
