Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ermis Koboroziadis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Pavlos Tzevelekos came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Beilerli BC's Alexandros Karachristos. But to his dismay, Alexandros Karachristos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 12 minutes, Alexandros Karachristos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beilerli BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandros Karachristos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kostas Kalogirou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panagiotis Dimakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Tzevelekos having to interfere. Pavlos Tzevelekos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Dimakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Beilerli BC's Alexandros Karachristos got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panagiotis Dimakis took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pavlos Tzevelekos. Pavlos Tzevelekos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Pavlos Tzevelekos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Dimakis in the 29th minute of the match. When Panagiotis Dimakis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pavlos Tzevelekos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Beilerli BC's goalkeeper Apostolos Soufleris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kostas Kalogirou. Kostas Kalogirou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Apostolos Soufleris made a huge save. After the first half Beilerli BC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Panagiotis Dimakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beilerli BC's Apostolos Soufleris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermis Koboroziadis in the 53rd minute of play. Apostolos Soufleris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermis Koboroziadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandros Karachristos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Pavlos Tzevelekos made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermis Koboroziadis in the 57th minute of play forced Beilerli BC's goalkeeper Apostolos Soufleris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaggelis Galopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Kostas Kalogirou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavlos Tzevelekos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panagiotis Dimakis in the 62nd minute of play. Paris Papardelas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apostolos Soufleris. Beilerli BC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With 69 minutes on the clock, Alexandros Pavlidis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Beilerli BC! Apostolos Soufleris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefanos Karapapas went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Beilerli BC's zone, Kostas Kalogirou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apostolos Soufleris came out of the goal and Kostas Kalogirou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermis Koboroziadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Apostolos Soufleris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kostas Kalogirou took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apostolos Soufleris. Apostolos Soufleris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marathσpoli BC had won after a very even match.
