Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nikos Tsitouras took the kick off in the first half of the match. Panos Soufridis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolis Violaris went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tolis Violaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Soufridis having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, SAN MIXALI SUROU FC's Giannis Parginos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Panos Soufridis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christodoulos Kouroupetzoglou in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dimosthenis Konstantakakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Nikos Tsitouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nektarios Melogiannis in the 31st minute of play forced Kokkinóyion's goalkeeper Panos Soufridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimosthenis Konstantakakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Tsitouras in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Christodoulos Kouroupetzoglou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dimosthenis Konstantakakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dimosthenis Konstantakakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Tsitouras, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Kokkinóyion were awarded a corner. Anestis Spyrou went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Kokkinóyion's Anestis Spyrou to fire away a dangerous shot which Dimosthenis Konstantakakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nektarios Melogiannis was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Giannis Parginos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SAN MIXALI SUROU FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Parginos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panos Soufridis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandros Vasilakos in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, SAN MIXALI SUROU FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Tsitouras came free, but Dimosthenis Konstantakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikos Tsitouras took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimosthenis Konstantakakis. Dimosthenis Konstantakakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dimosthenis Konstantakakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikos Tsitouras went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, SAN MIXALI SUROU FC's Tolis Violaris dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Tolis Papaspyrou took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimosthenis Konstantakakis. Dimosthenis Konstantakakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Marios Balatsinos's late challenge caught a SAN MIXALI SUROU FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marios Balatsinos helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kokkinóyion fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 85 minutes, SAN MIXALI SUROU FC's Tasos Touloubakis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Panos Soufridis. After a rather tough play, Kokkinóyion's Tolis Papaspyrou got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Panos Soufridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolis Violaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giannis Parginos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panos Soufridis having to interfere. Kokkinóyion's Panos Soufridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolis Violaris in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the SAN MIXALI SUROU FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kokkinóyion.
