Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zaknthos's Alfonso Loreto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edvard Lillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theofanis Venizelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kerasochori's Charis Giakoumakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Loreto in the 9th minute of play. Panos Leontakoglou scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charis Giakoumakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edvard Lillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Agathidis in the 18th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Zaknthos got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Panakakis. Alfonso Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Alfonso Loreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charis Giakoumakis. Kerasochori's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Loreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 36 played minutes, Zaknthos's Stephan Massenhove shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Charis Giakoumakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zaknthos reached it. Zaknthos's Edvard Lillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Zaknthos from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Kerasochori defense, Panos Leontakoglou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charis Giakoumakis. The Kerasochori fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charis Giakoumakis should have stopped the shot. In the 44th match minute, Zaknthos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Panakakis to maneuver through the defense. The Kerasochori players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zaknthos were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theofanis Venizelos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Stratos Panakakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charis Giakoumakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ntinos Krassas during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ntinos Krassas kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. If Alfonso Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Stratos Panakakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charis Giakoumakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ntinos Krassas kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Panos Leontakoglou struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Charis Giakoumakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zaknthos. In the 77th match minute, Zaknthos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Panakakis to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Loreto came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Charis Giakoumakis could save by the left post. Alfonso Loreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Charis Giakoumakis made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Kerasochori's goalkeeper Charis Giakoumakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Loreto. Zaknthos played a much better game than Kerasochori and deserved their victory. The Kerasochori players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
