Vaggelis Traboukidis struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Simos Papaggeloulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kokkinokhσrion BC. When Asier Guasch came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Kokkinokhσrion BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asier Guasch couldn't finish the play. Vaggelis Traboukidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 30 minutes, Vaggelis Traboukidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kokkinokhσrion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Traboukidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gliαta's Simos Papaggeloulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilias Mitrakis in the 32nd minute of play. Simos Papaggeloulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rik Arnolds in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Andreas Nothos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kokkinokhσrion BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andreas Nothos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simos Papaggeloulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gliαta's goalkeeper Simos Papaggeloulis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kokkinokhσrion BC's Vaggelis Traboukidis got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Kokkinokhσrion BC booed when Gliαta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Soulis Stamatakopoulou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Gliαta defense, Ilias Mitrakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simos Papaggeloulis. The Gliαta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simos Papaggeloulis should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute, Vaggelis Traboukidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Rik Arnolds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sakis Tsakonakis was the one to do the kick off. Odysseas Mouratidis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Kokkinokhσrion BC's Vaggelis Traboukidis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simos Papaggeloulis. Simos Papaggeloulis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 66th match minute, Gliαta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stathis Iraklidis to maneuver through the defense. If Rik Arnolds had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Vaggelis Traboukidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kokkinokhσrion BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Vaggelis Parathirakis kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Rik Arnolds recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vaggelis Traboukidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Kokkinokhσrion BC's Simos Papaggeloulis threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rik Arnolds, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over Kokkinokhσrion BC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gliαta throughout the match.
