Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vladimiros Pechlifanis got the match started through his kick off. Chrisostomos Iordanopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manos Gabriilidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Demis Venizelos hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Grigoris Fragis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Gabriilidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgos Lefkopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Palaion Diasellon's zone, Vladimiros Pechlifanis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlos Stathis came out of the goal and Vladimiros Pechlifanis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Miltiadis Karterouliotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Skripoú's zone, Chrisostomos Iordanopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manos Gabriilidis came out of the goal and Chrisostomos Iordanopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimiros Pechlifanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Stathis having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Petros Telakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skripoú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palaion Diasellon the free kick. A collision led to Skripoú getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Petros Telakos hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Vladimiros Pechlifanis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavlos Stathis was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Nikos Niarchos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Palaion Diasellon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skripoú:s goal. Palaion Diasellon's Kosmas Ipsilantis suffered a concussion after 38 minutes and had to leave the field. After 39 played minutes Skripoú got a freekick which was hit by Miltiadis Karterouliotis. Manos Gabriilidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chrisostomos Iordanopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

Miltiadis Karterouliotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Palaion Diasellon's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Telakos came free, but Pavlos Stathis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petros Telakos in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavlos Stathis saved Palaion Diasellon from getting behind. Skripoú's Vladimiros Pechlifanis got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Vladimiros Pechlifanis sped through Palaion Diasellon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pavlos Stathis. Vladimiros Pechlifanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giorgos Lefkopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Palaion Diasellon's Pavlos Stathis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiros Pechlifanis in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Skripoú's Giotis Bounias got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Giorgos Lefkopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Manos Gabriilidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Petros Telakos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 80 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pavlos Stathis was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Palaion Diasellon's Pavlos Stathis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Telakos in the 82nd minute of play. Petros Telakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Palaion Diasellon defense, Petros Telakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pavlos Stathis. The Palaion Diasellon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavlos Stathis should have stopped the shot. Palaion Diasellon's Pavlos Stathis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiros Pechlifanis in the 94th minute of play. Petros Telakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Pavlos Stathis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Skripoú players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
