When Chrisostomos Iordanopoulos, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 15 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Anastasios Vikatos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Stathis Parginos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pavlos Stathis. Stathis Parginos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. If Tolis Paschalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Takis Maselos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diaselláki BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palaion Diasellon the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Diaselláki BC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palaion Diasellon:s goal. The referee gave Palaion Diasellon a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vassilis Farmakidis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Diaselláki BC's Anastasios Vikatos . 2-1. Tolis Paschalis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Stathis having to interfere. When Diaselláki BC's Stathis Parginos in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palaion Diasellon's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the game, one of Palaion Diasellon:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

After having played for 55 minutes, Stathis Parginos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diaselláki BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stathis Parginos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vassilis Farmakidis hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Anastasios Vikatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kosmas Ipsilantis in the 59th minute. Diaselláki BC's Anastasios Vikatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoris Fragis in the 61st minute of play. Tolis Paschalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Pavlos Stathis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stathis Parginos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Grigoris Fragis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasios Vikatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Diaselláki BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thanos Peris to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Palaion Diasellon's Vassilis Farmakidis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 89th minute, Lakis Banasas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Grigoris Fragis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolis Paschalis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Stathis having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palaion Diasellon players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Diaselláki BC.
