Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Akis Kyriazis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Chomatas having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Akis Kyriazis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giorgos Chomatas. Omalon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Akis Kyriazis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 12th match minute, Omalon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Periklis Touchakis to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Valerios Gountelitsas in the 13th minute really tested Giorgos Chomatas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Giorgos Chomatas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giannis Fytanidis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Trνgonas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Achilleas Tsirimonakis came free, but Loukas Paschalakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Achilleas Tsirimonakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Omalon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Christos Kakotichos charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christos Kakotichos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Omalon booed when Trνgonas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Kakotichos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christos Kakotichos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Stelios Kouroupetzoglou was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Stathis Mallios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Giorgos Chomatas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akis Kyriazis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Omalon got a freekick which was hit by Zinon Kaounos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giannis Fytanidis to strike the kick off in the second half. Akis Kyriazis struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Giorgos Chomatas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trνgonas FC. A collision led to Omalon getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Periklis Touchakis hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Omalon's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Kyriazis came free, but Giorgos Chomatas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Chomatas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Kyriazis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giorgos Chomatas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Kyriazis, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute, Christos Asimakopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Akis Kyriazis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trνgonas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Akis Kyriazis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giorgos Chomatas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The attack was good, but when Giannis Fytanidis in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Akis Kyriazis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgos Chomatas having to interfere. Trνgonas FC's Loukas Paschalakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thodoris Stavrakakis in the 77th minute of play. Giorgos Chomatas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Fytanidis in the 79th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christos Asimakopoulos during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Christos Asimakopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Giannis Fytanidis came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Trνgonas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Fytanidis couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute Akis Kyriazis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giorgos Chomatas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giorgos Chomatas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Fytanidis in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thodoris Stavrakakis in the 91st minute of play forced Trνgonas FC's goalkeeper Loukas Paschalakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Fytanidis scored 5-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giorgos Chomatas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Trνgonas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
