Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Babbis Loizos got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Babbis Loizos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evaggelos Papaefstathiou was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Apollon FC's goalkeeper Minas Chalkias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michalis Stratis. Evaggelos Papaefstathiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziioannou Patronis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adamantios Kitsas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Chatziioannou Patronis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apollon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cenchreae the free kick. Chatziioannou Patronis hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cenchreae's Tolis Soukas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Babbis Loizos scored 1-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaggelos Papaefstathiou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Minas Chalkias was a little too slow when Michalis Stratis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-2. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Chatziioannou Patronis sped through Cenchreae's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evaggelos Papaefstathiou. A collision led to Apollon FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Notis Kitrinos hit a great ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Babbis Loizos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cenchreae's Evaggelos Papaefstathiou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaios Servetas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evaggelos Papaefstathiou didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Babbis Loizos went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute, Valerios Giaourtas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Chatziioannou Patronis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apollon FC were furious when Dimitris Tassakos was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 65th minute, one of Apollon FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Apollon FC. Evaggelos Papaefstathiou was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Babbis Loizos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Babbis Loizos really showed his touch with that goal: 3-6. A collision led to Cenchreae getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Adamantios Kitsas hit a great ball. Babbis Loizos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 81 played minutes Babbis Loizos could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 3-7 into the left cross. Michalis Stratis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minas Chalkias having to interfere. A collision led to Apollon FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Stergios Tsabouris hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Apollon FC's zone, Michalis Stratis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Minas Chalkias came out of the goal and Michalis Stratis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Cenchreae booed when Apollon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Karagiannis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Apollon FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cenchreae throughout the match.
