Apollon FC's Minas Chalkias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleftherios Bouroutzikas in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Eleftherios Bouroutzikas made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, PAIXTOYRAS F.C.'s goalkeeper Aggelos Zografos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Babbis Loizos. After 57 played minutes PAIXTOYRAS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eleftherios Bouroutzikas. The throw-in from Manos Likouris in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Apollon FC's Sakis Labriakos. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Babbis Loizos during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 82 minutes into the match, Apollon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleftherios Bouroutzikas came free, but Minas Chalkias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vaggelis Stathas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. A collision led to PAIXTOYRAS F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Vaggelis Stathas hit a great ball. Chatziioannou Patronis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Apollon FC's zone, Sotiris Papaggeloulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Minas Chalkias came out of the goal and Sotiris Papaggeloulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apollon FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
