Nasos Papachristakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telis Gogolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giannis Piperoglou struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Stavros Tassioglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oropus. Marinos Kopanidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasos Papachristakis having to interfere. The supporters of Nαsia BC booed when Oropus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Papafotoulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Themistoklis Antonatos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Oropus's Thomas Xanthidis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Telis Gogolos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nasos Papachristakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Nαsia BC's goalkeeper Stavros Tassioglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giannis Piperoglou. Themistoklis Antonatos got in the 29th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Stavros Tassioglou handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nαsia BC's Giorgos Passalis got a free kick in the 30th minute. Miltos Iordanopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miltos Iordanopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Nαsia BC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Alexis Tsirigopoulos hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marinos Kopanidis in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nasos Papachristakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Oropus's Nasos Papachristakis got control of the ball when Telis Gogolos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Telis Gogolos got free with Nasos Papachristakis in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Giannis Piperoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Oropus's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Kopanidis came free, but Nasos Papachristakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 84th minute of the match Nikos Papafotoulis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. In the 85th match minute, Oropus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Papafotoulis to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Giannis Piperoglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stavros Tassioglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Piperoglou in the 92nd minute of play forced Nαsia BC's goalkeeper Stavros Tassioglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
