Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vaggelis Skiriotis took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Giannis Piperoglou notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Palaiá Kariótissa BC's Fanis Zisimopoulos. Fanis Zisimopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 6th minute, Paraskevas Kalamaridis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute of the match Charis Lakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nasos Papachristakis skillfully saved the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Paraskevas Kalamaridis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oropus's Nasos Papachristakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Vaggelis Skiriotis came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Palaiá Kariótissa BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaggelis Skiriotis couldn't finish the play. Vaggelis Skiriotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasos Papachristakis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themistoklis Antonatos in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fanis Zisimopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Palaiá Kariótissa BC's zone, Giannis Piperoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Zisimopoulos came out of the goal and Giannis Piperoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaggelis Skiriotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nasos Papachristakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Skiriotis in the 28th minute of the match. Vaggelis Skiriotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fragiskos Giotos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasos Papachristakis having to interfere. Paraskevas Kalamaridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasos Papachristakis having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Themistoklis Antonatos was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Xanthidis's late challenge caught a Palaiá Kariótissa BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Xanthidis helped the player get up and apologised. Thomas Xanthidis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Skiriotis in the 54th minute of play forced Oropus's goalkeeper Nasos Papachristakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vaggelis Skiriotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasos Papachristakis having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vaggelis Skiriotis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nasos Papachristakis was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Sotiris Valassoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palaiá Kariótissa BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Skiriotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nasos Papachristakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaggelis Skiriotis's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Paraskevas Kalamaridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nasos Papachristakis having to interfere. Nasos Papachristakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Skiriotis in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Palaiá Kariótissa BC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Fragiskos Giotos hit a great ball. In the 98th match minute, Palaiá Kariótissa BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotiris Valassoglou to maneuver through the defense. The Palaiá Kariótissa BC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Oropus to win.
