Kostas Spyroulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxidi's zone, Gustavo Barto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Teneketzis came out of the goal and Gustavo Barto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavlos Perdikopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ΠΑΕ ΠΑΟΚ's Kostas Spyroulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlos Perdikopoulos in the 52nd minute of play. Stelios Venetis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fokas Kokkolakis got free with Kostas Spyroulis in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 58th minute, Christos Kopanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pavlos Perdikopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. Kostas Spyroulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavlos Perdikopoulos in the 66th minute of the match. Argyris Sardanis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fokas Kokkolakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Kostas Spyroulis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stelios Venetis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavlos Perdikopoulos in the 93rd minute of play forced ΠΑΕ ΠΑΟΚ's goalkeeper Kostas Spyroulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kostas Spyroulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavlos Perdikopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ΠΑΕ ΠΑΟΚ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
