Simos Kominidis in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomas Teneketzis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Marinos Vlachos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Galaxidi's zone, Simos Kominidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Teneketzis came out of the goal and Simos Kominidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simos Kominidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Thomas Teneketzis made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinos Vlachos in the 31st minute of play forced Galaxidi's goalkeeper Thomas Teneketzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Fokas Kokkolakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hjalmar Bengtsson was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pavlos Perdikopoulos was the one to do the kick off. Marinos Vlachos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hjalmar Bengtsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simos Kominidis's late challenge caught a Galaxidi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simos Kominidis helped the player get up and apologised. Simos Kominidis kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Fokas Kokkolakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Bengtsson having to interfere.
