An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Darlas in the 8th minute of play forced GAVANADES FC's goalkeeper Errikos Kontos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Errikos Kontos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Serametakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Errikos Kontos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Darlas in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Kolitsidhaνika FC booed when GAVANADES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Sarafis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Nikiforos Topoudis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GAVANADES FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kolitsidhaνika FC the free kick. After 27 played minutes GAVANADES FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikiforos Topoudis. In the 27th minute, Marios Prokovas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and GAVANADES FC's Errikos Kontos didn't even have to move. The GAVANADES FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kolitsidhaνika FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vassilis Darlas to make the kick off. Babbis Serametakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errikos Kontos having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, GAVANADES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vassilis Darlas came free, but Errikos Kontos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. One of GAVANADES FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kolitsidhaνika FC:s goal. 0-3 came through a penalty shot after 65 played minutes, when Kolitsidhaνika FC:s Marios Prokovas calmly waited for GAVANADES FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. GAVANADES FC's Nikolas Koliakis got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
