Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Makrokhσri's Panos Pragidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stratos Katsiougiannis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Fragiskos Tzikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Nasiakos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Chrisostomos Machlas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fragiskos Tzikas was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Manolis Pachatouridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Papagiannatos having to interfere. Stratos Katsiougiannis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fragiskos Tzikas having to make a save. Fragiskos Tzikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Katsiougiannis in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Panos Pragidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christos Papagiannatos, 1-0. In the 33rd match minute, Makrokhσri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandros Kalantidis to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match Dimitris Theodoratos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fragiskos Tzikas skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayeranσs's goalkeeper Christos Papagiannatos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stratos Katsiougiannis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Nasiakos charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Nasiakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ayeranσs booed when Makrokhσri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Nasiakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Makrokhσri's Fragiskos Tzikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Katsiougiannis in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Makrokhσri's goal looked a bit too open when Chrisostomos Machlas came free, but Fragiskos Tzikas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manolis Pachatouridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Chrisostomos Machlas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Makrokhσri's Makis Tokas got a free kick in the 54th minute. Fragiskos Tzikas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stratos Katsiougiannis in the 55th minute. Manolis Pachatouridis struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Christos Papagiannatos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Makrokhσri. Kostas Petsalnikos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Fragiskos Tzikas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stratos Katsiougiannis in the 63rd minute. Fragiskos Tzikas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chrisostomos Machlas's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes Makrokhσri got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Nasiakos. Chrisostomos Machlas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fragiskos Tzikas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Manolis Pachatouridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Papagiannatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Makrokhσri had won after a very even match.
