Spectators: 6752 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 0) Makrokhσri's Panos Pragidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Makrokhσri's Panos Pragidis got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 7 minutes, Panagiotis Stefanou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gavros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panagiotis Stefanou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apostolos Kermelidis struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Fragiskos Tzikas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gavros. Alexandros Kalantidis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Gavros's Apostolos Kermelidis got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match Alexandros Kalantidis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lefteris Giotatos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Gavros getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Spyros Ntovas hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manolis Pachatouridis got free with Lefteris Giotatos in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Takis Vangelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fragiskos Tzikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panagiotis Stefanou in the 36th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Makrokhσri got a freekick which was hit by Makis Tokas. 41 minutes into the match, Gavros's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Pragidis came free, but Lefteris Giotatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Apostolos Kermelidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Nasiakos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panagiotis Stefanou to make the kick off. Loukas Pagonis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Makrokhσri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Tokas to maneuver through the defense. Apostolos Kermelidis let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 53rd minute shot 0-1 at rihgt post. Lefteris Giotatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolis Pachatouridis in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Makrokhσri's Andreas Nasiakos got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Panagiotis Stefanou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fragiskos Tzikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Stefanou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apostolos Kermelidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fragiskos Tzikas having to interfere. Fragiskos Tzikas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apostolos Kermelidis in the 74th minute. Apostolos Kermelidis struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Fragiskos Tzikas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gavros. In the 85th minute, Panagiotis Stefanou fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fragiskos Tzikas, passed just outside the right post. Fragiskos Tzikas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spyros Ntovas in the 89th minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, Gavros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prokopis Bourlokas to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Gavros left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Makrokhσri.
