In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tifrosιllion BC's goalkeeper Ermis Togas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Argyris Benakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sakis Massoutas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Argyris Benakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tifrosιllion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argyris Benakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Tifrosιllion BC's Efthimis Loukakis got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Dimitris Papadamopoulos made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Tifrosιllion BC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Loukianos Laskos hit a great ball. Sakis Massoutas might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermis Togas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sakis Massoutas ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the game, Dimitris Papadamopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ermis Togas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to MAVROGATOS FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Babbis Valassopoulos hit a great ball. Argyris Benakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sotos Samanoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, MAVROGATOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efthimis Karakotsos to maneuver through the defense. Tifrosιllion BC's Efthimis Loukakis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MAVROGATOS FC. After 65 minutes of play, MAVROGATOS FC's Dimitris Papadamopoulos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermis Togas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 72 played minutes MAVROGATOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Efthimis Karakotsos. MAVROGATOS FC's Sotos Samanoglou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save MAVROGATOS FC from getting a goal against them. Argyris Benakis struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Sotos Samanoglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tifrosιllion BC. When Efthimis Karakotsos fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAVROGATOS FC's protests and gave Efthimis Karakotsos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Efthimis Karakotsos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efthimis Loukakis's shot from long distance in the 79th minute was not bad at all, but MAVROGATOS FC's Sotos Samanoglou knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Paris Margaritas charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paris Margaritas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tifrosιllion BC booed when MAVROGATOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Mastrogiannis didn't get a good kick on the ball. MAVROGATOS FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tifrosιllion BC for a fine match.
