The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panos Papakrivas during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Sas FC got a freekick which was hit by Panos Papakrivas. If Theocharis Kamelakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theocharis Kamelakos scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitris Zouboulidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Aris Karameris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nafpliara1908 FC's Kubat Cesman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Papakrivas in the 21st minute of play. Errikos Mathioudakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Zouboulidis having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Nafpliara1908 FC's Theocharis Kamelakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitris Zouboulidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Panos Papakrivas got his second yellow card in the match during the 29th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Sas FC's Panos Papakrivas got a free kick in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theocharis Kamelakos in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Zouboulidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Theocharis Kamelakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aris Karameris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dimitris Zouboulidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Zouboulidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theocharis Kamelakos in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Nafpliara1908 FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Nafpliara1908 FC's Theocharis Kamelakos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dimitris Zouboulidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The supporters of Nafpliara1908 FC booed when Sas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tasos Plasmas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Dimitris Zouboulidis managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Nafpliara1908 FC's Theocharis Kamelakos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dimitris Zouboulidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Theocharis Kamelakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Zouboulidis having to interfere. After 82 minutes of play, Nafpliara1908 FC's Aris Karameris made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitris Zouboulidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the game, Errikos Mathioudakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nafpliara1908 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sas FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Aris Karameris could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Dimitris Zouboulidis however easily saved by the left post. Sas FC's Kostas Massoutis got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
