Kostas Massoutis charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kostas Massoutis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Patra booed when Sas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Massoutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Kostas Pardalakis put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dimitris Zouboulidis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Pardalakis in the 86th minute of play forced Sas FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Zouboulidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patra's Anastasios Pantaleon managed to work through Sas FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Anastasios Pantaleon dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.
