The referee ignored Palaiokhσra FC's protests and gave Tasos Koublis a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Palaiokhσra FC got a freekick which was hit by Tasos Koublis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theocharis Kabantais in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pantelis Leontarakis saved Palaiokhσra FC from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Theocharis Kabantais left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Koutsopαpoulos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience was convinced that Babbis Psalidas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pantelis Leontarakis was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. If Notis Venieris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the game, Evaggelos Kopidakis lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Kostas Kavalaris. When Kostas Venetidis came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Koutsopαpoulos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kostas Venetidis couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Palaiokhσra FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Koutsopαpoulos FC.
