The supporters of Galiαna booed when Koutsopαpoulos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Markos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostas Kavalaris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Mavromatis in the 7th minute of the match. Koutsopαpoulos FC's Kostas Kavalaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Koutsopαpoulos FC from getting a goal against them. Vaggelis Mavromatis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Koutsopαpoulos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alkaios Maragozis during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Galiαna got a freekick which was hit by Alkaios Maragozis. Alkaios Maragozis kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aggelos Matzavidis during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Koutsopαpoulos FC's Kostas Kontopanos was substituted for Christodoulos Petrakos. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kostas Venetidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Koutsopαpoulos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kostas Venetidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoforos Kourkoulas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Galiαna's Christoforos Kourkoulas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Venetidis in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babbis Psalidas in the 43rd minute of play forced Galiαna's goalkeeper Christoforos Kourkoulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 44th minute of the match Alkaios Maragozis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alkaios Maragozis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 45th match minute, Galiαna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alkaios Maragozis to maneuver through the defense. Kostas Kontopanos charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kostas Kontopanos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Koutsopαpoulos FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kostas Kontopanos hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Koutsopαpoulos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 55 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Mavromatis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galiαna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koutsopαpoulos FC the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babbis Psalidas got free with Christoforos Kourkoulas in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 72 minutes, Panagiotis Parmezanas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galiαna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panagiotis Parmezanas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Panagiotis Parmezanas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Argyris Tselementes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Christoforos Kourkoulas made a huge save. Vaggelis Mavromatis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, one of Galiαna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Galiαna. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Koutsopαpoulos FC. Vassilis Markos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Christoforos Kourkoulas. 3-1. From a short distance, Koutsopαpoulos FC's Theocharis Kabantais, in the 91st minute, tried to place the ball behind Christoforos Kourkoulas, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Babbis Psalidas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Christoforos Kourkoulas made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Panagiotis Parmezanas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Koutsopαpoulos FC's Theocharis Kabantais dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Galiαna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
