With a little luck, Valomándrion's Sotos Koukodimos got control of the ball when Notis Venieris tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Notis Venieris in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sotos Koukodimos saved Valomándrion from getting behind. In the 8th match minute, Valomándrion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikitas Tsolakis to maneuver through the defense. Notis Venieris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Valomándrion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Laspouras to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Valomándrion's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Venieris came free, but Sotos Koukodimos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Notis Venieris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaggelos Kopidakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palaiokhσra FC's Pantelis Leontarakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Argyris Strevlos in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Valomándrion's Argyris Strevlos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pantelis Leontarakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Notis Venieris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Palaiokhσra FC's Evaggelos Kopidakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sotos Koukodimos. Sotos Koukodimos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.

The wind increased when Vrasidas Briolas made the kick off in the second half. Valomándrion's Vrasidas Briolas got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vrasidas Briolas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Notis Venieris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotos Koukodimos having to interfere. In the 62ndth minute of the game Evaggelos Kopidakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valomándrion's Sotos Koukodimos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Argyris Strevlos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sakis Kododimos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Sotos Koukodimos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Notis Venieris, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Notis Venieris struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Sotos Koukodimos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palaiokhσra FC. Sotos Koukodimos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Notis Venieris in the 86th minute of the match. Giorgos Laspouras charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giorgos Laspouras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Evaggelos Kopidakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sotos Koukodimos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Notis Venieris in the 91st minute of play. Palaiokhσra FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
