Theodosis Kazanas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinon Kalaitzopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AIANTAS AENP ATHENS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Prodromos Koufontinas in the 8th minute. The AIANTAS AENP ATHENS fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when AIANTAS AENP ATHENS's Isidoros Sotirakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Giorgos Manousakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 14 minutes, Petros Tzevelekos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEJA VU and the AIANTAS AENP ATHENS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Giorgos Manousakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodosis Kazanas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoros Sotirakis in the 19th minute of play forced DEJA VU's goalkeeper Theodosis Kazanas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoros Sotirakis in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theodosis Kazanas saved DEJA VU from getting behind. Theodosis Kazanas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoros Sotirakis in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Isidoros Sotirakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theodosis Kazanas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, one of AIANTAS AENP ATHENS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AIANTAS AENP ATHENS. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoros Sotirakis in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theodosis Kazanas saved DEJA VU from getting behind. Theodosis Kazanas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prodromos Koufontinas in the 38th minute of the match. Giorgos Manousakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Theodosis Kazanas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind DEJA VU's goalkeeper Theodosis Kazanas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 57th minute, Paris Mavroudis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of DEJA VU booed when AIANTAS AENP ATHENS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paris Mavroudis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoros Sotirakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zinon Kalaitzopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theodosis Kazanas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoros Sotirakis in the 64th minute of play forced DEJA VU's goalkeeper Theodosis Kazanas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Isidoros Sotirakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theodosis Kazanas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in DEJA VU's zone, Isidoros Sotirakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theodosis Kazanas came out of the goal and Isidoros Sotirakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zinon Kalaitzopoulos in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theodosis Kazanas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Isidoros Sotirakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anestis Kantartzis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to DEJA VU getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ilias Manikas hit a great ball. Giorgos Manousakis struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Theodosis Kazanas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIANTAS AENP ATHENS. Theodosis Kazanas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sotiris Koubaras's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that AIANTAS AENP ATHENS were the better team. AIANTAS AENP ATHENS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
