He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Platanokhσri FC reached it. The supporters of Platanokhσri FC booed when Total Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Platanokhσri FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
