Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fotis Georgakis got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Fivos Kechagiadakis made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Palampas BC's Christos Mesidis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manos Vardopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Mesidis having to interfere. Palampas BC's Christos Mesidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Palampas BC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ntinos Kourebes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palampas BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ntinos Kourebes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Argyris Katsapopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Markos Giannopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palampas BC's protests and gave Markos Giannopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. If Manos Vardopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Kourebes charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giorgos Kourebes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giorgos Kourebes kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Telis Karoubalis kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ntinos Kourebes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Argyris Katsapopoulos having to interfere. Manos Vardopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Christos Mesidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Palampas BC's Christos Mesidis got control of the ball when Manos Vardopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manos Vardopoulos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 26th playminute. In the 30th minute, Michalis Verikokos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skafi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Palampas BC. Kleanthis Kalabokas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Argyris Katsapopoulos. 2-1. If Zinon Farmakopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Telis Karoubalis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skafi's supporters rose to their feet, but Telis Karoubalis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Mesidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Zinon Farmakopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fivos Kechagiadakis was the one to do the kick off. If Apostolikas Gouziotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Telis Karoubalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zinon Farmakopoulos in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christos Mesidis saved Palampas BC from getting behind. Fivos Kechagiadakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Apostolikas Gouziotis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christos Mesidis having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Akis Koronios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Fivos Kechagiadakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christos Mesidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Telis Karoubalis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fotis Georgakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zinon Farmakopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palampas BC's Christos Mesidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinon Farmakopoulos in the 80th minute of play. Fotis Georgakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Argyris Katsapopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Palampas BC booed when Skafi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fivos Kechagiadakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Palampas BC's Kleanthis Kalabokas tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fivos Kechagiadakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Zinon Farmakopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skafi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zinon Farmakopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Skafi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
