The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dhrimon's Nikiforos Thamnidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefanos Athanasiadis in the 7th minute of play. Stefanos Athanasiadis scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikiforos Thamnidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sture Söderlund hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Nikiforos Thamnidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefanos Athanasiadis in the 15th minute of the match. Nikiforos Thamnidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Bakosis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 22nd minute Stefanos Athanasiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikiforos Thamnidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikiforos Thamnidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakis Koutsis in the 61st minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Dhrimon's goal looked a bit too open when Stefanos Athanasiadis came free, but Nikiforos Thamnidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Prokopis Siontis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christos Karagiorgas, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 74th minute, Snowkids GF's Stefanos Athanasiadis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikiforos Thamnidis. Nikiforos Thamnidis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Miltos Bakosis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 82nd minute of the match, Stefanos Athanasiadis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikiforos Thamnidis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
