Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Tilemachos Katsikas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gournai FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tilemachos Katsikas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akis Kromlidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diogenis Kalinichtas was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Andreas Pantazis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andreas Pantazis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Gournai FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Kosmas Karamichalos scored to the left of an out of position Diogenis Kalinichtas, making the score, 3-0. Kosmas Karamichalos struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Diogenis Kalinichtas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for dodoni eagles. The audience was convinced that Kosmas Karamichalos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diogenis Kalinichtas was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. dodoni eagles's Lakis Akrivatos was substituted for Thodoris Kladogennis. Konstantinos Mourouzis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gournai FC's Konstantinos Mourouzis got a free kick in the 60th minute. Kosmas Karamichalos's late challenge caught a Gournai FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kosmas Karamichalos helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes dodoni eagles got a freekick which was hit by Kosmas Karamichalos. dodoni eagles's Kosmas Karamichalos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogenis Kalinichtas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kosmas Karamichalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Konstantinos Mourouzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kosmas Karamichalos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Diogenis Kalinichtas having to make a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kosmas Karamichalos couldn't finish the play.
