With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eutichios Karakostas in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronald Maerschalcx saved Varαkkes from getting behind. After some careless play in the Varαkkes defense, Efthimis Katsaridas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronald Maerschalcx. The Varαkkes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronald Maerschalcx should have stopped the shot. Eutichios Karakostas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. When Efthimis Katsaridas fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREEN FC's protests and gave Efthimis Katsaridas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Efthimis Katsaridas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eutichios Karakostas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Eutichios Karakostas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 40th minute, Eutichios Karakostas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ronald Maerschalcx, passed just outside the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eutichios Karakostas to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Varαkkes's Achilleas Sapanis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miltiadis Vrotsos. That made the score 2-1 after 51 minutes of play. Fotis Mavroulis hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Vaios Kladakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varαkkes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEN FC the free kick. After 65 played minutes Varαkkes got a freekick which was hit by Vaios Kladakis. Efthimis Katsaridas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. The supporters of GREEN FC booed when Varαkkes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fotis Mavroulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, GREEN FC's Eutichios Karakostas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronald Maerschalcx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Efthimis Katsaridas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute.
