Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sokratis Labirikos made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Theodosis Kastaniadis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Savas Tsiamakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Ao Thrakis's Stavros Panagiotidis threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paris Karipidis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Astakos FC's Stavros Panagiotidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stavros Koklas in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Astakos FC booed when Ao Thrakis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotiris Kalfas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostas Pechlivanidis in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Savas Tsiamakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th match minute, Astakos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodosis Kastaniadis to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Kyriakos Karapiperidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stavros Panagiotidis. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Paris Karipidis hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Fondas Kalamaras notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Ao Thrakis's Savas Tsiamakis. Savas Tsiamakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paris Karipidis kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Kyriakos Karapiperidis hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kostas Pechlivanidis to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Kostas Pechlivanidis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Stavros Panagiotidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stavros Koklas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Paris Karipidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stavros Panagiotidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Astakos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sokratis Labirikos came free, but Stavros Panagiotidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Sokratis Labirikos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stavros Panagiotidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 73rd minute, Vrasidas Tsoulidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astakos FC's Kostas Pechlivanidis got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Kyriakos Karapiperidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Stavros Panagiotidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Paris Karabidakis fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ao Thrakis's protests and gave Paris Karabidakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Ao Thrakis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paris Karabidakis to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Vrasidas Tsoulidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Savas Tsiamakis, 3-5. The Ao Thrakis manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Astakos FC to win.
