Lazaros Zelelidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Nikos Kapogiannopoulos made a huge save. A collision led to ΑΣΠΡΟ ΑΛΟΓΟ FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Marinos Batakos hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΣΠΡΟ ΑΛΟΓΟ FC's zone, Zacharias Tsirilidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikos Kapogiannopoulos came out of the goal and Zacharias Tsirilidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanos Chatzidis's late challenge caught a ΑΣΠΡΟ ΑΛΟΓΟ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanos Chatzidis helped the player get up and apologised. 17 minutes into the game, one of BlueFly:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave ΑΣΠΡΟ ΑΛΟΓΟ FC a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Giannis Peronosporopoulos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BlueFly's Manuel Neuer. 1-1. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adamantios Kanatakis in the 23rd minute of the match. The long shot by Aimilios Giotakos in the 24th minute really tested Nikos Kapogiannopoulos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Miltos Kalenteridis hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes BlueFly got a freekick which was hit by Aimilios Giotakos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinos Beos in the 44th minute of play forced BlueFly's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinos Beos in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fokas Venizelos was the one to do the kick off. Zacharias Tsirilidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nikos Kapogiannopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikos Kapogiannopoulos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to BlueFly getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Valentinos Kotsiopoulos hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Fokas Venizelos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikos Kapogiannopoulos was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adamantios Kanatakis got free with Manuel Neuer in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ΑΣΠΡΟ ΑΛΟΓΟ FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over BlueFly's much stronger midfield.
